Welcome to Kuni, US-Market Forecaster! This step-by-step onboarding guide walks you through downloading the app, choosing your sign-in method, configuring Google Drive cloud sync, and understanding the core layout.
🚀 1.1 Download & Installation
Kuni, US-Market Forecaster is published officially on the Google Play Store for Android devices (running Android 8.0 Oreo or higher):
- Open the Google Play Store on your Android device.
- Search for "Kuni, US-Market Forecaster" or visit the direct link: Play Store Listing →
- Tap Install.
🔑 1.2 Sign-In: Google vs. Guest Mode
When you launch the application for the first time, you are presented with two flexible sign-in methods:
Continue with Google (Recommended)
Signs in securely with your Google Account. Enables sandboxed Google Drive AppData cloud backups, multi-device sync, and Google Play Premium subscriptions.
Continue as Guest (Freemium)
Allows you to explore the app instantly without signing in. Your data is stored locally on your device in offline mode. You can upgrade to a Google sign-in at any time in Settings.
⚡ 1.3 Initial Setup & Data Pre-Warm
Upon sign-in, the app displays the high-speed Initial Sync Screen. In just 2–4 seconds, the app performs the following setup sequence:
Account & Drive Verification
Connects to your Google Drive AppData container to download your existing watchlists, portfolio ledger, and user preferences.
Market Data Download
Downloads the latest US market signals, technical indicators, and Google TimesFM neural forecast models into your local Room database.
